Some years ago, the City of Sacramento dismantled and donated to Pioneer Mutual the fire alarm boxes and pedestals which formerly served as the community's primary fire reporting system. They were considered obsolete in today's society and became an unnecessay financial burden to maintain. We have since sold most of the alarm boxes and all of the pedestals. However, we keeping hearing that there are a number of pedestals still standing on the city streets.Therefore, we have provided the list below to include all fire alarm pedestals, which we are aware of that remain on Sacramento City streets: If you have observed one and it is not included on the list below, please email us the address or location where it can be found.
